House 8 meter above municipal mains. Very low pressure, only 1.5 L/minute. Complained.
Now I note municipality installed an Advanced Valve ADS 400 control 30 cm from the mains direction house. I read they are used with geysers.
Question - how can that valve increase cold water flow/pressure in the house ? Measured flow is still bad, in fact I think its worse now.
Comment appreciated peter

You can maybe start off by getting someone to measure the pressure in the pipes when all taps are closed. This will determine whether it is a pressure issue or a pipe diameter issue (i.e. maybe some blockage causing low flow reaching your house). If it is a pressure issue, you will need to add a booster pump downstream from the municipal meter if you want to increase the pressure in your house. That valve they installed is only meant to limit the pressure going to the house to 400kPa. I assume they thought you complained about too high pressure in the house and not low pressure.
