Why does Municipality take 48 hours to reconnect water? Eskom at least reconnects the day after payment was processed.

That is a great example of a rhetorical question! The answer is to look at the calibre of Municipal employees in SA ... I'm trully surprised they 'only' take 48 hours.

Because they are incompetent. I suggest you start a study into the way in which our evolutionary background creates the tendency for useless individuals to obtain positions of power in our elected social structures. Is it just our way of moving suchlike into positions where they can do least harm to our survival?

The elimination of natural selection with modern medicine and culture allows these individuals to exist

In CT the municipality won't cut the water 100%, they will reduce the pressure so that if you run a hot tap, the HWC will not fill up so fast and will burn out. Had it across the road from me where the owner never paid Council for over a year in an effort to evict the tenants and (fortunately for them) they cut the electricity first and then reduced the water pressure 90%. It took about 5 mins just to fill a bucket. Something to do with health regulations

Natural selection is not eliminated. Fitness differences still exist.

TIA. You need to bribe the right people if you want service. Otherwise, complain for nothing like the rest of us.
