I decided I want to get the XSPC Rasa RS240 watercooling kit for my new build. This will cool a 2700k in a Corsair 500R or 600T (White Editions).
I'm thinking of ordering it from either Performance PC or FrozenCPU. I will do the standard kit and ditch a few parts - this is what I will be using.
XSPC kit: www.frozencpu.com/products/11743/ex-wat-159/XSPC_Rasa_750_RS240_Universal_CPU_Water_Cooling_Kit_w_Free_Kill_Coil.html
Radiator
CPU block
Res/pump combo
Included fans
Other:
Monsoon 6 pack compression fittings (Just beter and safer) http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14928/ex-tub-1102/Monsoon_Free_Center_Compression_Fitting_-_38ID_x_58OD_-_Modders_6_Pack_Matte_Black_FCC-3858-6P-MB.html
PrimoChill PrimoFlex PRO LRT Tubing 3/8"ID 5/8" OD with 1/8" Wall - White http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9397/ex-tub-502/PrimoChill_PrimoFlex_PRO_LRT_Tubing_38ID_58_OD_with_18_Wall_-_White.html
PrimoChill Pure Performance Coolant http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6529/ex-liq-58/PrimoChill_Pure_Performance_Coolant_32oz_-_Clear.html
So what do you think? This works out a lot cheaper than trying to buy everything locally. The shipping option I chose is a little bit more expensive but the order is then insured.
FrozenCPU: $292.37 with shipping R2286 (USPS Express Mail international)
Performance PC: $306 with shipping R2387 (USPS Express Mail international)
My other concern is if the RS240 rad will fit the 500r or 600t, so far I haven't found any concrete measurements that it will fit without modding the case, which I dont want to do. In both cases the radiator will be inside with the fans pulling from underneath the mesh tops.
So PPC or FrozenCPU? Which have you used if you have used them and are you happy with them? I will most probably be paying a lot for duties, lets hope it is not to bad and still be worth it. Will post this on other forums as well to get some more feedback.
