Hey peeps,
So I'm not up to much this holiday so I decided to give my pc a overhaul...going to do the whole watercooling thing. My case is a midi tower so I'm going to make some heavy modifications in there. I don't care how my pc looks as long as it is small and quiet so I'm free to screw up the outside.

I'm on a budget and am looking for everything I need for watercooling.Pump, radiator, water blocks, thermal paste ect. Any recommended shops/someone selling their stuff?I will post pics as I progress if anyone cares enough to check...

So for the questions. Any good brands that I should look out for?How long do the parts last?Maintainance costs? How much am I going to spend if I buy everything new? General price for the components would be greatly appreciated...Thanx

Started overclocking yesterday...but I'm a fast learner :) Got 3.15ghz on my e6320 at 1.4375v. Testing for stability as we speak...lol, just bombed out as I was typing this!Go ff3 for remembering what I typed :D

Damn watercooling is expensive...Im good at DIY though so I should be able to make lots of this stuff myself I think. I have a lathe for a reason...If anyone is selling plz pm me

what temps are that e6320 idling at

i got my e6300 from 186ghz to 3.2ghz on air so your on the right track

just need to get it stable now :)

have u tried booting with less voltage?

I dont even get the bios screen when I boot with less voltage. Seems stable atm though.Time will tell. The ds2r's bios is confusing though...the names are quite deceptive so I have to google everything before I change it.

most important thing is watching your temps

anything over 55 idle is bad news if you box is not cooled well

yes using core temp.Yay I got a gpu and a cpu waterblock.Now just a pump/radiator/tubing/reservoir...

xfx geforce 8800gt alpha dog. Got the glacier 9200 gpu block. And some d-tek fuzion (or something like that) cpu block.

You going to OC your GPU aswel?
Haha, you must post your 3dMark scores when your done, oh and Pics:D

LOL that whole idea blows my mind! I just wonder what the lifespan is on those parts

I heard the ones on the website for the whole mod have lasted years hey, and still going:D I think it the same as like in air

umm...I'm on a budget so I'm just buying parts that people give me at discount. Not sure how great the fishtank will look if I'm buying low cost. I will post before after pics. Its gonna be f-ugly though.I don't mod to look nice. Just to be cool :D

Might overclock gpu but not sure...No need to really do it.Its fast enough for what I use to for.

also I transport my pc about 10 times a year (from res and back and sometimes in the house when working with my dad) so I will try keep it as compact as possible.Gonna change my case quite a bit to fit everything in.
