So you can produce 600L of water a day for a mere electricity cost of R241 a day.
Monthly that will cost you R7241.65 in electricity.

If you however just use 600L of water for 30 Days at R50 a KL it will cost you R900 a month for the water.

I think importing orphan tears will be cheaper

Thank goodness someone told them the numbers. Seen a few of these around, they produce water from the air... You know sweat and bad breath ... Gross.

AND it's.expensive!?

Can't believe or understand why they are for sale anywhere!?

Because drinking water is going to become a serious luxury. Just wait till it's R20 a bottle.

It's R20 a kilolitre... That's 500+bottles...

I expect reverse osmosis of ground water is an order of magnitude cheaper... And heading to a spring!?

I get your point about being lucky, but if the water stops.running in your municipality then it's probably time to move!

Groundwater is seriously polluted in some places in SA with radioactive waste and even if the water flows, unless SA Government can outperform US Government, it's likely some trusted sources should not be trusted. Just look at what happened with the lead pipes in the US. Poor management is rife across the country right now with only one muni getting a clean audit. You can be sure things will not be improving in the short term.

Besides, some of us may choose to live in areas not serviced by government.
Lol if we ever get to that state do you think you'll have electricity to run this thing?
