Waters criticised for 'racist' tweet

Dude, stop pulling the race card, I did not say racist in any point in this thread! Can it or not be construed as voters standing in line on voting day to make a mark to vote? Simple question...

Don't act like a poepol. Where do you line up to vote at a tree? This is clearly dogs lining up to piss on the head clown Zuma.

DA reviews social media policy after tweet uproar

The Democratic Alliance’s (DA) newly elected leader in Parliament, Mmusi Maimane, says the party is reviewing its social media policy.

This follows what some have described as a derogatory tweet by the party's deputy Chief Whip, Mike Waters showing what appeared like dogs lining up to urinate against a tree with a poster bearing the face of President Jacob Zuma.

Waters has said he regrets the tweet.

Maimane says the party has accepted Waters' apology. "We are in process of reviewing our social media policy. It’s important to put on the table the tweet - was in bad taste, not something we stand for. I was comfortable that his apology was genuine. It’s not consistent with the spirit of where we want to go," adds Maimane.

Meanwhile, the African National Congress (ANC) has condemned the picture. ANC spokesperson Keith Khoza claims the picture is a reflection of the DA's view of the black majority who voted for the ruling party.

"It's a continued narrative of the DA that is racist, it disregard the intellect of our voters and belittles them and we think that this practice boarders on undermining democracy but also undermining the freedom of choice of our people and not respecting it," adds Khoza.

Is that really Khoza's statement, verbatim?

Oh... that. Could very well be the reporter who screwed up the quote.
I wouldn't take it as verbatim.

So EWN went one better and actually referred to voters as clowns and named ministers as such. As expected the ANC again whinged that it was racist (they really are a one trick pony) but George Bizos ruled that it was not racist.

Worth reminding all the ANC apologists that your chosen leader, Zuma, did even better himself when stating that only clever people are worried about Nkandla. Effectively saying if you aren't concerned, and hence vote ANC, you're dumb. For once he may have been close to getting something right...
