Indeed, but knowing blizzard they will introduce a new currency with the next patch and you will have to gain points all over again

Taking the history if Blizzard into account, they have never turned the lesser points into higher ones, but rather just added new points. The heroics then give the new points instead of the current. But lets see what happens, the whole point system is so WOTLK maybe for CATA they have some fresh ideas!

Have also just read that all VP will be converted to JP. But this will raise the issue on the JP cap and what will the factor be in which VP is converted to JP. 1:1 or 1:2?

What is easier to store up? JP you can get capped at 4 k quite easily... They will have to increase the Cap!

Well its all just data mining at this point in time, but everything points to ragnaros... final boss will drop our ranged weapon.

VP's will be converted to JP's for the next patch. the limit is 4k and the rest over that will be converted to gold but at a rate they havnt determined yet.
The T11 gear will be buyable with JP's but they will introduce a new system for T12 gear.

raids definatly help alot i joined a new guild 3 weeks ago and im almost exalted just from raiding 4 times a week clearing every raid.
