Given the "techy" guys know your password, I assume they could read your email?

ye course they could, stricly speaking you should never use a isp email addy because you might change isps and also they already have too much info on you.

you can encrypt mail.. but who bothers

Probably, but I don't think they do!

Not to be a dumb-ass or something, why dont u use free web mail services like gmail or yahoomail?

oh i do use gmail. i filter non-relevant stuff mostly through my ISP address.

well they can/might but who cares anyway. I've read other peoples email. You have to read through alot of junk its not worth it unless you're looking for somethign specific or trying to phish passwords with the 'forgot password' feature on sites

I suppose all ISPs can do this and not just WBS. I suppose the shock was that when I phoned the helpdesk the person told my password whereas mweb has never asked nor told me.

i NEVER use my wbs acc and even if i did it really woudlnt phaze me iif someone read my mail... well.. they wouldnt have to but still...

its not like i disclose the secret lesbian hideouts with email now is it?
