Story is short.
WBS (Shaun & Smithy) recieved from me batch of antennas. With COD conditions. To sort out problematic users. By they reply all antennas working "unbelivable". (I know - even Northcliff users get 400-600 speed)
But it's one problem - this antennas for more then 3 week still not paid.
I recieved many different explanation and stories but no money! WBS ask me not to sell this antenna through other distributors as WBS want sole rights for resell. But all what they want - is "free samples"! They pointing fingers to bosses absent at the desk (for 3 weeks?) to sign order, to misterious "women" who have to issue the check or transfer money e t.c.

I think that everybody know how one call somebody, who take goods from shop and not paid for it.

From this moment i fill free from any promisess given to WBS.
So, guys, antennas are freely available and all distriburtors welcome!
This antenna outperform YAGI that on the market for R1200 but cost fraction of this!

And BTW - i want my UNPAID goods back ASAP.
 
I want one please GRES. I live in PTA. I'll transfer the money into your account and get a courier to pick it up if you don't come out this way very often. :D
 
GRES I'm using the standard WBS ext. antenna (made by Webb Industries) ... and getting - 64 dB from my closest tower. Is there any value/benefit in switching to your antenna ?
 
Yes there should be, because there is a MASSIVE difference between a patch antenna and a Yagi antenna. GRES supplies a Yagi antenna, the gain is so much higher compared to that piece of crap patch antenna supplied by iBurst

Yagi is with very unstable parametres. More then 5 elements Yagi require individual tunning and thus very expensive. More then 7 elements does not give any improvement. My last Yagi was made 20 y ago.
This one is dual - "double circular" and was initially designed to UHF TV recieving from 150 kM distance.

So how about telling us the performance differences between your & WBS's ext. antenna? ... do some selling man, you got some potential customers here.

modem antenna:
Bscc2 cost -96
Bscc9 cost -101
my antenna:
Bscc9 cost -70 -74 (different test samples)
Bscc2 cost -86

test was performed with modem rised 2m ower the roof and then replased with antenna sitting at the same point. Distance from Roodeport tower (9) is 9.3kM by GPS.
This design combines vibrators with resonant circuit and have highest possible gain and big collection area.
As it possible to have interference from the roof or whatsever i claim only >+18dB
Antenna is higly directional (+/-15degree h and +/-30 vertical) and require LOS or software to proper direction setup.
Size 205 x 110 x 35mm with 1.2m cable and connector attached

I'm in an area where the coverage map says my speeds should be 225kbps. I currently get around 350kpbs on average. My lights are usually 3-5 green leds (signal fluctuates between 50% and 90%). Will an antenna imporove sppeds?
 
GRES, I will only say that you were a stupid fsck for dealing with WBS, and that's the end of it.

Whoever the fsck it was that delivered your stuff without receiving the Cash on Delivery is the stupid fscker. I hope you've learnt your lesson.

Are you willing to sell these directly to public? I will be willing to try one as the antenna that WBS sold to me in JAN, 2005 really sucks and does not make much of a diff. I am in JHB and am willing to collect.
