Damm... and I thought that website was so cool!!:>

Now its broken

Whatever you ar smoking is too strong for you.
It have been working the whole day

im talking about the help desk section of it ffs, pay attention here

yeah they just moved the helpdesk to linux and need to reinstall everything. good news is that they reset the bandwith counter but they use another server to count that with so they are still counting bandwith while the helpdesk page is down :(

I suppose the only way you will know how much usage you have left is when you hit 64k...hehe - if you have not monitored it any other way. That will probably happen before the website is active.

nah, thier system seems to be slow like telkoms except with 512 you can only hope to do about 3GB in a day before the system checks but with iburst you an easily do 8, I will monitor my usage from now on and when I'm close to cap I will only start downloading like crazy once the system has done its check, then i can score an extra 8GB in the 24 hours before they cap me :)

Yow !

These blokes are amatuers or what !
You don't use Fedora for a mission critical web server, that's just plain crazy.
Well, at least, I certainly wouldn't use it.

I'd use something like FreeBSD or Engarde Linux with a completely minimal install.

Also, how they can leave a default Apache page up like that all points to gross negligence and amatuerism.

At least get a freakin iBurst logo up with a "please be patient" type message.

If I was involved at a high level in iBurst, I'd be phoning the damn techie who installed the box and get him to fix it no matter the time of day it was ! - 2am on a Saturday morning, who gives a damn - fix it quick !

Aiissh !

fedora is fine for a webserver, any linux is, they probably just wanted somethign easy to install that came out the box with a fresh version of KDE, but it has been down for a long time, however I think they may have problems with flash because to use flash with php to produce dynamic content like they do you have to use macromedia remoting which requires a new licence with every install, they could use AMFphp but that is not 100% legal and it means they'd have to do a bit of recoding.

Why did they decide a windows server with IIS was OK before hand then on the launch day change it, that just makes me think they have no one over there who can think ahead or knows what they're doing.

Damn... Under the purchase choice on the account settings the price for 3GB has been corrected from R469 to R599...

I wouldn't go that far, actually they worked on the weekend and fixed a bunch of problems highlighted on this very forum. I bet if sentech never existed WBS wouldn't be taking so much crap. Although I'd appreciate it if there was soem public way for WBS to communicate with customers, thier forum is a bit weird and you can't see who made a reply, wether it was some support guy from WBS or some person who smokes crack.

It was their website I was refering to - didn't make myself clear.
It's hideous - totally ugly.

The payoff line up the side - my G0d, that's so pathetic, it's laughable !

iBurst, fire your Ad Agency now and get someone who can actually help you build your brand !

"Freedom has never felt this good" - puke, vomit, k@k, bullsh1t
