WD 1tb external

okay so i have a 1tb with all my movies now my mom took this drive to her work for ppl to copy only to get it back locked via the WD software now this is about 500GB of movies any idea how i can unlock the drive with out losing the movies?

How did it get locked?

Someone loaded the backup tool and locked the drive, get your mom to find out who it was and get the key from them. If you are a noobie when it comes to PC, take it to your local computer shop and get them to take a look at it using Hirens. If they don't know what Hirens is, then go somewhere else.
