I have an older WD TV Live media player which has served me well, being able to handle all of the video formats that I have thrown at it.
Unfortunately, when I first purchased the media player, I had hassles with the unit being unable to read data off my Transcend USB drive.
I am now in the situation where a friend - who owns a Transcend 1TB USB drive formatted using FAT32 - would like to purchase the current WD TV Live to view AVI/MP4/etc. files.
Question: is the current WD TV Live unit able to read a Transcend drive ?
