From how many blocks or streets away were you able to hear it?

Also, OEM taxi sound systems leave much to be desired, so can't fault people for upgrading the in-taxi-entertainment equipment a bit.

Would've asked if that setup is 12x 12" subwoofers, but then I realised that it is a bygone era since the law (<- lol ) came about which stipulates that the rear exit of minibusses aren't allowed to be blocked by huge speaker enclosures.

Haven't you seen the dozens of MyBB articles regarding the Uber and Bolt strikes over the impounding of these e-hailing cabs?
 
The by-laws are not on the website.... This is what I was sent when asking about it... (You would think that if they want people to comply, they make it easy to find what needs to be complied with...)

It also seems a bit hard for the app-based taxis to comply with - e.g. the requirement of a taxi meter and fares to be diplayed...

surely before doing all this they would have sorted their permits out, crossed their T's and dotted their I's? Wouldn't that be step 1....

if this is the case and they don't have permits, well then I'm sorry they are clearly being run by a poepol

It is municipal permits for taxis... (they seem to have taken on Uber, Bolt and InDrive drivers as well)

(And having to comply with special rules for at least 3 different metros for services operating across the province seems tedious...

The by-law is not on the municipality's list of bylaws either... (I only had it to upload it since I asked a councilor for it...)

Wanatu likely has one massive disadvantage though - their vehicles are branded, so the TMPD knows to check for permits, while it it much less obvious which random Corollas / Polos to check...
