weak dstv picture quality,help

Hi all

Oky so there is a pvr decoder,the house uses channel 1

Then the cable for channel 2 run about 10m to the flat..

Then there's another small flat next to them,now there is a spliter from th main flat so that people in the small flat (another 10m away)can watch what the others are watching..

Problem here is,everyones picture quality seems decent! But the small flats picture is bad,kinda pixelated ,just bad! Not great to watch on if there is a 40" tv..

Any idea what a person can do to increase quality?

Not necessarily but its a good place to start as they do go faulty or someone plugged it out.
