This is an announcement to all customers who are utilising the Multirealm feature currently offered on our Unshaped DSL-Data accounts.

Since successfully launching our new ADSL network and consistently exceeding network performance targets we have identified the ".v" realm login feature as a redundancy in our offerings.

Therefore the ".v" feature will be discontinued on the 15th of March 2010.

To avoid disruption and switch over to the Web Africa Network simply login to your ADSL router and update the username section by removing the .v extension from your username, save and restart your connection.

As a temporary measure customers may also utilise the ".s" Multirealm function should they choose, however this feature is also being considered for discontinuation at some point in the near future. To track the status of this, please visit our forum.

my problem is, I am one of the World of warcraft sicko's

My latency on the .v domain was about 250-350ms.... on the .s domain it is 350-450ms at good times... is there any decent ISP still selling verizon services... or is it possible to go to the directly...

What's your latency on "straight" WA? There's been talk on their forum of them prioritising WoW to give better pings, don't know if it is actually better though?

Verizon = MTN Business and AFAIK they don't sell ADSL bandwidth only wireless (or business lines which are diginet?)

I found the .v account performance similar to the normal one. Have you added the registry hacks?

They sell business fibre, ADSl lines and bandwidth, not just wireless or diginet.
