Double posting . . . at least we know you're using your own product. :D

Tracerts show a 200ms delay when going from Webafrica's network to Telkom's network. It's not rocket science, that the investigation by your network guys is taking so long.

You guys have said in another thread that we pay for the quality of the network - well I'm not seeing any evidence of that.

This has been going on for 3 or 4 weeks now. How constant can you keep looking at it before fixing it?! You do know what is wrong, or don't you?

The whole day and still no resolution? Wow, can you hire someone else to find and fix the problem please WA, I'm tired of this slow browsing and almost non-existent download speed.

International browsing & downloads are fine here. MyBB and some local sites (eg Telkom) are close to useless.

Haha you've only been having issues for a day? This has been going on for a week or two.

Offpeak, nice browsing experience. Come work day 9am and it starts going downhill. Everyday it's the same thing.

No problems here guys, Reseller on Allocation with WA. The entire day for us have been smooth sailing in terms of DSL Speed. Even when SAIX had international issues, our connections were fine. There was a DOS Attack at WA and we had no side effects either. Check the Alerts page.

Maybe there's a common factor with those that have slow downs?

Well just had to switch back to another ISP, 'cos my WA was timing out.. and slow. (BTW first time I been trying it during the day for a while, but all I can say it's not good).

Weird...they must have fixed something like 60 sec ago. Had a long list of traces I wanted to send to support. Did one final test before hitting send...and everything was fine again. Close call. ;)

Something was wrong with their routing I think. Google wasn't being routed to the local google servers.

Hey guys,

Sorry for the delays on updates our end, been a busy Monday and still going :)
For the guys having issues during the day, what are your speeds, latency and pings looking like at this time or later? Once we have this info for today as well as a new week I can get this passed onto the Networking Team for investigation.

Thanks :D

Can you please confirm what line speed you are currently setup and running with jellievis?
I'll take this info to the Networking guys for further investigation.

Once I've had some sleep I'll follow up tomorrow morning, probably around 8am :)

Morning Jeff,

I'm on a 4 meg line. It's a DSL Complete package.

Thanks a lot!

Hi jellievis

These speeds are not at all what you should be receiving on your connection.

Especially not on a local server.

I would like to have your connection investigated for you, would you mind please dropping me a pm with your details.

As soon as I receive your details I will forward it to the ADSL manager.

Thank you.
