Just a heads-up...
I requested my DSL line to be moved to Web Africa, during this process i confirmed around 5-10 times wheter or not i will be double charged in some way, to which i was told "NO" every single time.
All my debit orders has now been deducted and here is what happened with my 10MB line
Telkom - R624.50 (DSL)
Web Africa - R400.00 (DSL)
Web Africa - R258.06 (DSL)
I have now paid MORE than double this month for my DSL line.
If you want to move... be prepared.
I have now lost all faith in Web Africa, cause i specifically asked if this would happen and they told me "NO".
UPDATE: Looking at HelloPeter, it is clear that WA's service is slipping in a BIG way... so sad... this for a company that believes that their "Service" not "Price" is what sets them apart from other ISP's in South Africa.
UPDATED: Web Africa called me back and will refund the R258.06 om Friday. They tried to push the blame to Telkom, then they tried to blame ALL the consultants i spoke with, but i had none of it. If you now remove the R258.06, then i am paying double this month for my DSL. Thanx Web Africa for lying about it more than once. I am now too scared to move my line or anything else. Who knows what will happen.
