Correct me if im wrong... have not done any checks with regards to this, but... the WebAfrica network will probably not have access to either the IS or SAIX news servers correct?

Will there be any form of news binary services?
 
Hi MrG,

You are correct, the Web Africa network will not have access to IS or SAIX news servers due to restrictions on their sides.

WA is looking into providing news server/s.
Our primary concentration is on rolling out our network successfully, once this is done we will have more resources to innovate and add value for money services.
 
Eish, will have to cancel my acc then. Any time frame on when you guys would have your own servers ?

SAIX accounts will be moved over once the new network launches out of beta and will not be offered anymore. I.S accounts on the other hand will continue to stay as is for the meantime.

Are you sure about this? I was able to connect to the IS news server yesterday with my trial account :confused:
 
it would be cool if webafrica could offer a news server. i use the IS one alot!

Yup. I only downloaded around 10Mb but definitely managed to connect.

I tried later last night and this morning again and haven't had any success since.
