Web Africa - Uncapped stars

One of my accounts is a Home uncapped 4mb with webarfica.

  • 19 days into the month
  • I have used a total of 56gb (of which around 15-20gb is midnight to morning)
  • I am 2 stars
  • not even 1mb used on file sharing and p2p


Speeds are horrible when browsing internet.

And please, that cheeky oak saying I should not use uncapped... go take a hike. i have more than one isp with more than one data package.

My point here is, that Web Africa is offering uncapped, and they know they can't, so they just throttle the living daylights out of you.

The no longer stand for quality, they probably have one of the slowest call centre's out there (even telkom answers more quickly)

I will be moving all my **** over to a different isp.
 
You get what you pay for. Cheap uncapped is only sustainable for the ISP when they throttle or shape the **** out of you.

You state your line speed. The amount you can download goes up with line speed. Sounds like you're on 2meg. No way that usage would give you issues on 4meg.
 
Don't they also use that rolling 10 day window? Seems like most of your usage was in the last 10 days according to your screenshot, thus the lower star rating.

not according to the forum where they dodge the question. there they say there is no rolling window and that it is dynamic.

And don't you dare ask them what dynamic means, cause not even they know.

This. Just 1 or 2 days without day time downloads will easily fix it.

I doubt you can say that unless you know exactly how the star rating is calculated.... and WebAfrica refuses to give us the info. all they say is:

- Its Dynamic
- It tdepends on the usage at that point
- There is some form of rolling period (but they also say there isn't)
