Just a quick overview of what to expect from Web Africa:

If you intend on making use of them, good luck, cause the call centre takes about 20 minutes to answer.

They try and keep up appearances by replying to these threads and saying "Please PM me your details", which in the end leads to ZIP.

Just some more info on the speedtest: The prioritise speedtest.net as to make you think you have full speeds, but in actual fact you are being shaped sh!itless. with my speedtest result above i only get around 30kbps video streaming, and around 40-50kbps for http traffic.

*Note on Disconnects, the line is perfect for about a day lately, then all of a sudden the SNR drops to -8,-5 and it does the disconnects for a few hours

Are you on a uncapped or capped account?

I have the 60+240gb capped account and seems okay for me.

One of my accounts is uncapped. the screenshot of the star rating is uncapped.

My capped account works fine, but the service and support still sucks on that account.

for one thing, you're very impatient aren't you? Especially since you typed "i don't know" when they asked you how they can help you.

I know for one, I would go to the next live chat request to try and help a customer if I got a snotty remark like yours back.

Live chat also has several users per support agent, so if they don't respond immediately to you, why gets so irate? And if your connection has been doing this for months now, why the hell stay with them? Get another ISP? Or let me guess, you wanted to save R20 so you have your line with them as well?

*slow clap*

I honestly don't mind it being a little bad. Openweb was so bad that I don't even mind anymore

Hi Vizzehh,

Our upstream service provider has now alleviated the congestion issue that affected our network in the Gauteng region and now they're working on fixing Cape Town. Are you still getting a bad connection?
