First off....
please forgive me for all the questions lol i dunno where else i can throw it in... i ask this question in one of the threads but the guys just went past it so...

whats a recommended web cam at a lekke price. and does it chow bandwidth?

i never cared when i bought mine - some chinese canyon does the job well, because i knew it was only for skype. however, for surveillance you'd probably need something with much higher resolution etc.

I think it uses a bit - you can get a Creative Vista one from Sahara for R99 ex. VAT.

I think it does use a lot of cap :/ How big is your cap?

On another note, I managed to get Playstation EyeToy webcam working with MSN ... yay! It's a much better cam than me dirt cheap Logitec bought 6 years ago ...

the eyetoy, man that i did not know, send me those drivers please

I got my 2 from ebay bout 5 years ago and been using them since.
they even got 6 lights so i can chat in the dark( i haven't really used them, but they are there for those peeps that do)

I think back then i was about R 120 with postage, have a look, maybe you find a bargain.

Word of advice, only buy form the guy's with good reputation and those that sold ########### lots of stuff. they won't screw you.

nah i'll check at Springbok IS, Incredible, Game, Computer Mania, Hi Fi, etc, etc, etc.... logitech should be good, one thats about 200 should be good.

my cap is 1gb... though i think its 2 now. my dad was in control so im not sure. i took it over now only.

damn a eyetoy? OMG WTF BBQ!!!
LOL

I'[ve got a Logitech Quickcam (Messenger?) which has a mic. Works with windows and linux.
