Can somebody please recommend somebody / or a company that can assist me at designing a web-forum (similar or better :p than MyADSL). Don't need something too expensive....

Any pointers will be appreciated.

i like phpbb
Sets up in like 30 seconds on linux or windows - provided PHP and mySQL is installed.

Thank You all

Thanks for great response - can somebody please exlain more about vBulletine, I have seen so many forum with this thingy.

You buy Bvulletin and you can download the software with the username and password they send you. You then follow the install instructions and its ready to use. www.dotcomputers.co.za/vb/ Set it all up in under 10 mins.

I would not recommend phpBB as it has serious problems with the south african ADSL proxies. You are very likely to have to log-in between page change. simplemachines forum on the other hand is free and working.

vbulletin is good but expensive, the other is invasionboard but that has some issues. so for research purposes I'd google on:

phpbb, simplemachines, vbulletin and invasioboard

Thank you all, really appreciate it...my PC is under constant attack (spyware), I get directed to antispylab.com (hope those as*hol3 die a slow painful death) hence my late replies...

I will look at all suggestions and get busy with it - I 've had some basic Dreamweaver 4.0 training ages ago - surely it's going to come handy...

I will keep you updated on the project...

Thanks

Just tried to connect to that link but it bombs out. I 've managed to download it using another PC - busy scanning the whole PC - I'll update you of how it goes...

Thanks
