Web dev and advice needed

One of my customers wants to set up a small e-commerce website, basically selling information (documents, and suchlike), mainly to the US market.

She needs a bit of help:
- Can anyone recommend a suitable web hosting service? It should probably be in the US, and should preferably have some of e-commerce facilities (pay by card/PayPal, etc.).
- Can anyone handle the web development? She'll need the initial setup done, plus the odd bit of maintenance (e.g. addition of products) on an ongoing basis. Again, not very complex.

Doing the website you'll probably get away with PHP which is fairly easy.

I don't know what she's offering; it's not my area, so I said I'd ask around where there are lots of knowledgable people, and pass on references to her.
