Responsibilities
What you will do ...
Work closely with all Senior Developers and UX designers to develop a pixel perfect version of their designs
Hands-on development, debugging and on-going maintenance of new and existing code (PHP, MySQL, JSON, jQuery)
Author and maintain design documentation
Organise workload to meet deadlines as assigned
Develop and integrate with 3rd party tools and services, as well as integrate between different in-house systems.
Develop a working knowledge of our products and services in order to better understand client needs
Interact with other key staff members on the design and execution of user interfaces, process flows
Work in a fun atmosphere
Requirements
Must have ...
Experience using Git with multiple developers and branches
2-3 years Web development experience
Be able to create table-less code layouts & responsive design
Understand the PSD to HTML / CSS process
Experience in building cross-platform,
cross-browser, responsive interfaces
JavaScript and JQuery experience
PHP and MySQL experience
Creative and have great attention to detail
Put theory into practise
Nice to Have
Close to perfection ...
Wordpress, Joomla, Shopify, Magneto or other experience hugely beneficial
Broad understanding of the technologies used in web development
Contributing to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification)
Python and API experience
Time management skills and the ability to meet
deadlines
Understanding of UX, accessibility such as the standards, patterns and approaches that enable web access for all users, irrespective of browsing technology
