I gave Microsoft Web Matrix a go a few months ago. Quite a decent tool for being free. Its a mixture of standard HTML, CSS and JS, along with C# Razor code if you wish.

Oddly enough, it actually helped me understand the move from ASP.NET WebForms to ASP.NET MVC because there is come commonality with MVC.

I'm using this for my PHP Dev. Works quite well. Hosting on WampServer.

So I started with MS Expression Web ... works great for me (offline editing and then publish directly to my webserver). I doubt this will be the way forward, but for now (limited site and time) it works for me. Thanks for all the inputs
