Hi,
I would like to know where i kind find some cheap fundamental web development training. Something that can teach me a very broad perspective of web site creation, perhaps in the format of a dvd or cd?
Thanks in advance!

google. But I don't think it comes on dvd. :)

Seriously, look at w3schools for online guides and references for (X)html, css, javascript and beyond.

fundamental web development? It's become a massive field over the years, so you would do well in deciding which technology you'd like to concentrate on. The technologies differ greatly, e.g. .Net vs PHP vs Perl vs Java, etc etc etc

I started with PHP. By using it I learned the basics of html as well. Download WAMP (Windows Apache MySQL PHP), and then use this to learn PHP and html.

What I did was when I wanted to make a table, I looked up the syntax and options for it. The same for any other tag I wanted to use. If I saw something funky on a website, I looked at the code, and tried to see how they did it. In the same fashion you can see some nice CSS and javascript in practice.

Going on a course, will only teach you the basics in any case, and it's not difficult to learn at all.

Some sources:
Teach yourself HTML in 24 hours
PHP Manual
World Wide Web Consortium

w3schools.com will be a good start.
