I am trying to host a web server from my computer. I have setup a dynamic IP service and a web server. The web server itself works because if I type localhost into my browser it goes to my website, but if I type in my real web address (ex. myname.host.org) it goes to my router's management screen (I have a Mega-100WR). I have read in tutorials that you must switch off remote management but I can't seem to find such an option.

You can access your computers web server via the dynamic IP/DNS address by going through an external proxy server, if you have a SAIX connection then you can use cache.saix.co.za:8080 as your proxy.

To set the proxy in Internet Explorer:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings

Also note that you'll need to have configured port forwarding on your router.

Its prolly port forwarding, that is the mowst common problem, if you have a dynamic IP updater then make sure that your IP is actually being updated.
You need to forward all requests on port 80 coming to the router to port 80 on your web server likewise for 443 if you have a https:// section
