My journey with WebAfrica had been good until they charged me 2 years later for a lte router that was no where stated on the contract to at time router was given.
My timeline with WebAfrica goes

2014 - Signed up for ADSL
2014 -2017 - few package changes, line uprgades
2017 - cancelled ADSL
2017 - Moved my Telkom voice to VOIP WebAfrica
2018 - 24/02 Ordered Cell C lte with router
2018 - 09/03 Request for LTE cancel , service so slow gave me ED
2018 - 01/05 Cancelled , had to wait 3 Month to cancel, NO ROUTER disclosure to pay back!
2018 - 2010 Notice no LTE service contract (I had Rain during this time fully paid B618 router)
2020 - 24/01 , Ordered a SIM only Telkom LTE, no router
2020 - 12/02 , Request cancelled my VOIP service , was completed 01/04/2020
2020 - 29/12, Request to cancel my Telkom LTE
2021 - 01/02 , Telkom LTE cancelled
2021 - 05 , charged R1999 for router ??

All I am saying is , without having a contract for 2 years with WebAfrica and a loyal customer , I was charged 3 years later for a router not contracted, that was not even able to connect to the correct network frequency at time of service. I was given a B315s that couldn't connect to the proper frequency on the network for speeds promised then charged a ridiculous amount for a Router that was not in an agreement for almost 3 years later. I just hope I am not charged in 2022 for something else not disclosed, maybe they will charge me for the ED their service gave me in 2018. Be careful of these nasty surprises. I wonder how things would have turned out if I cancelled all commitments to WebAfrica in 2018. If only I had that B315s and Cell C sim card still, I would take it and ......

Hi , am a new customer - 5th day as a customer and am hating their service , have so far been billed for two days ( no service) and a router which might be delivered two weeks later and am being

Bad choice bud. WebAfrica is no longer the company they used to be. They are worse off than Rain or Telkom now days when it comes to customer service....

Of course the pitchforks come out because a person doesn't choose their ISP as usual.

Both AH and CISP have great forum presence and their networks as well, I think AH does have the better support system and client area backend. Take a look at AH and CISP forum threads and you see people having issues in both.

Just because your ISP experiance is great doesn't mean all others suck.

I would just like to point out something. I am with WebAfrica and do not recommend them as an ISP. So my experiance of "Of course the pitchforks come out because a person doesn't choose their ISP as usual" is not the same as others.
My opinion still stands on the ISP of the other thread as well.

Yeah was a stupid move , used to be with Vox and decided to try something different for Fibre , have raised the issue with the WEBA support team , if they don't shape up . then penalty clause or not will move. Was so happy to be rid of ADSL, well will testing their speeds this weekend , started on a 50/50 line with the idea to move to 200/200, will see.
