So I went for the ADSL Complete package from WebAfrica. If I knew that I had to sort out the Telkom part as well, I might have not done it.
Since I've moved, WebAfrica had only taken my money, and did not do anything visible with Telkom, regarding taking over the line.
Now, I'm sitting with having to pay bills from both providers, and a Telkom unwilling to relent it's hold on my line, and even worse, WebAfrica unwilling to assist (not replying to my emails for help).
I tried talking to Telkom in order to move my line over. The result: they denied my request with no reason. Operators refuse to help until I tell them what the reason is. I can't find out, because the woman who denied it, is not available, ever.
Edit: WebAfrica came back, and informed me that they will only charge me after the line had been transfered. Bollocks, they are charging me already!! No help in sorting out the Telkom thing aswell.
If, by the end of the month, things are not sorted, I will be a lot less active on the net. I'm tired of trying to figure out, whom you have to lick where, to get any kind of service in this country.
