I have a client on WebAfrica in Rosebank JHB.
I can connect to their mail server at Hetzner by referring to it by its IP address, but no web access.
They were on some Telkom DNS servers, which I presume might have changed with Webafrica becoming Tier1. Checked the DNS addresses the router was on and used them on a client PC to no avail.
There were 60 people waiting in the support queue, and someone there at the client got through to sales who said there was indeed an issue, but I am concerned I am the first post here to bring it up.
Anyone else having issues this morning with WA?
Thanks

Well if there were 60 people in the queue then I'd say a lot of people are having problems with WA, and I think it's due to the incorrect billing as well

Try using opendns or just set the client PC's as automatic (from router? I guess you already tried that though)

Last resort would be to update the PC's host file

No WA DNS issues on my side. Set router and/or PC's to get DNS automatically. Checked my router, the WA DNS IP's are:
196.220.59.188
196.220.59.189

or use OpenDNS:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220.

or Google DNS:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

The OpenDNS addresses are working fine, but not the WA DNS addresses.
Guess they may have a problem?!?

Did also try and refer the DNS to the router with no joy.

Thanks for your help guys!

I have also been having problems since last week. Their dns servers are not working.
