Hi all!

Did anyone else also experience a problem at around 3:50pm with WA ADSL service?

We contacted their support who said that they were experiencing a major issue, to the extent that they could not even access their own systems.

WA guys that monitor myBB, please comment?

Outage lasted about 5 minutes, back up, with still horrible speeds though.
 
WA been sucking for a while. 8000ms on wow compared to afrihost 400. download speed is 4kbps on a 4meg line. gonna cancel with them
 
It has been a pain, WA Support is admitting to high latency, and that they are apparently working on the issue. Cannot give an ETR though.
 
Hi guys

We experienced a 5 minute outage internally, however this did not affect any of our customers.

As waAngelo has mentioned here, our engineers have done extensive testing from our side and our network is functioning as it should be. Please can you continue to monitor your connection and forward us the test results.
 
Ian, as soon as we discovered that we had no Internet access, we contacted WA Support. We were advised that the support agent could not assist as everything was down, to the extent that she could not access our client details.

While it is possible that it was due to coincidence that both our line and your internal services went down simultaneosly, it is difficult to believe.

We are monitoring it, but speeds are still terrible!
