WebAfrica Gaming is hideous

So I came from a Telkom uncapped LTE to Webafrica's 50/50 Fibre.

Apart from nice-looking speedtests that show 50mbps, the rest if has not been very good.

I play a few online games on Battle.net. With the Telkom LTE I NEVER had disconnects.

Since I got the Fibre on WebAfrica I can hardly play a game and it says "Reconnecting..." and finally Battle.net just drops me.

WhatsApp often shows "Connecting" for 10-20 seconds before I can do anything, and Instagram sometimes can't load anything then suddenly it can.

Anyone having this problem? I'm not too happy since I was expecting a better service through Fibre but it seems to be worse than LTE.

If you aren't having a positive internet experience, change ISP. Simple as that. It's a free market. Personally, I recommend Cool Ideas.

Also make sure that your router / WiFi is not a bit flakey - try to connect directly with LAN cable to the router and test again - you might have a WiFi problem somewhere (assuming you changed routers) - also, Cool Ideas - less hassle and much better internet joy
