So as some of you might know, Cellc is ending their fixed lte service.
I ended up canceling my account with them which I’ve had for almost more than 3 years. (ADSL and switched over to lte)
My first headache was that due to their canceling policies I had to pay for a month for a service I didn’t even use. I thought that would be the end of it but nooo.
Today I receive an invoice for R1999 as a modem clawback. This was never told to me during cancellation and there was no mention of me needing to return the modem. To make matters worse I never received the reminder notifications only the invoice for R1999, for a modem that doesn’t even cost that much.
But you know what? Fine take the modem, I’m not even using it.
But no, they will not send out a currier to collect the modem and expect you to return the modem yourself in Sandton. To make things worse, you can only do this in the week as weekends they are closed. So other than having to take a day off to return their shitty modem how tf do they expect people to return it?
So no, I will NEVER deal with Webafrica ever again. I was a really happy customer before this, but this is just completely unacceptable. I will never recommend them to anyone ever again and they will be receiving cancelations for any active services my family still might have with them.
