Is webafrica's ADSL line of the same quality of Telkom or should i rather stick with telkom.

All ADSL lines are supplied by Telkom, WebAfrica (and several other ISPs) only manages it for you if you so choose.

It is best to leave the management of your line with Telkom and just buy data from whichever ISP you want to.

You can then easily jump from one to the other depending on the deals they offer. It is a rather cumbersome process to move your line's management between ISPs.

Also, if there are faults on your line it is best to deal with Telkom directly. A 3rd party only adds complexity and delay to this process.

Cuppa has a point. On the other hand nobody wants to deal with telkom and if the ISP does it for you so much the better. I don't change ISP very often but I regularly have trouble with my line.

Happy to let WA deal with it.

Does web Africa throttle/shape their capped products?

You guys are right, its faster to deal with Telkom Directly...

So if i'm going to rent my adsl line directly from Telkom, you think I should go for the Dstv Explora deal? It looks like 10Mbps is available in my area. What are your thoughts?
