I have a NZB file I would like to download. How would I go about doing this without subscribing to to an overseas news server account?

I have a WebAfrica Uncapped DSL account, and in my searches I found this: http://blog.webafrica.co.za/general/wa-news-server-what-you-need-to-know/

Does that still work?

You can just use the IS news server.

news.is.co.za

You may have luck if the article isn't too old.

Is it just me or are there a lot of missing articles on the Webafrica news server there days. Getting a lot of ‘out of server retention’ of new stuff. Even if they are only a few days old.

Interesting - I have been wondering too as I have not been able to get a few files now, so this would make sense

Super old thread, I know....but what does one use these days for WA? Tried both news.wa.co.za and news.is.co.za. Not working....

They closed the news server down a year or so ago.
