Webafrica or afrihost?

I think Afrihost is better. I think this because they are cheaper and works very well. I have never used a support service in my life so can't comment on that excuse for high prices.

Just moved over from WA to Afrihost. Not regretting it for one second.

Currently with WebAfrica and signed up for an account with Afrihost this week, just to try it out.

The Afrihost support staff made such an impression on me that I have already cancelled the Afrihost account.

I think I'll wait until a company comes along that has good pricing and good client service. (yes I can dream ;) )

Just out of interest: what do you use the clients services for?

With Afrihost you only use 1 small bottle of Vaseline per month and with WA you will use at least use 2 jumbo size bottles.

As I see it there are two main times I will use client services:

1) When initiating the service;
2) When something goes wrong (be it technical or administrative)

So I tend to keep a watchful eye on the level of service during 1 because when 2 happens, I want to know that it's going to be sorted out quickly and professionally.

Afrihost botched part 1 completely, so I'm not going to wait to see how badly they can botch part 2.

In the 5 years I've been dealing with Afrihost, and the 6 months on ADSL, I've yet to even sniff a problem. Nope, I would rather save myself 60% a gig, thanks.

Difficult to say. I am personally moving from mweb to WA. Depends on what you want and what each of them offer.
