I have been attempting to update my card as I recently changed banks. However, the payment gateway seems to be done! I'm told by website to contact support. I sent webafrica a WhatsApp and haven't got an answer. Horrific services. When will be rectified or should I Start looking for a new provider

Move away from webafrica, lots of threads on this forum with complaints about them.

OK thank you will consider this.
Move away. Take this as you wanting to give them money, but you have this much issues.

Now imagine you having technical issues. Even worse getting support.

@WebAfrica Helper Since my last post, have you taken this kak support issue up with your management? Or are you just as ****ing useless like the RAIN clown? "Please DM me your details...."

Morning All, we had some technical issues with OTPs being delayed and affecting some of our Vumareach clients at the time, this has since been addressed and resolved.
@My_King We have addressed the issue and have deployed a fix, our affected clients have confirmed the matter resolved from their end.

Please reach out to us if anyone requires additional help

Ah ok.

So tomorrow if anyone has an issue they don't have to resort to MyBB to air their frustations then.

WebAfrica can then be seen as an ISP that provides support.

Thanks.

Try removing your credit card. And don’t use a virtual credit card. And re-add

Solution : If you're having this issue of adding a new card but your payments still aren't going through, you have to register or log onto payfast. Remove your expired card and add your new card onto the payfast site. Set it as active. Go back onto webafricas site and do the same after and you should be good to go. You'll be able to make an immediate payment directly after this.

I had to figure this out myself as the WhatsApp chat agents had no clue on what to do besides saying try again abit later.

@WebAfrica Helper , please train your agents on this method. You aren't having payment gate issues or technical difficulties. You guys just aren't trained on troubleshooting and it's really appalling. I don't blame any of the WhatsApp chat agents for not knowing. The company itself need to provide adequate training for their team members.

If you would like to permanently solve this issue then your page where you remove and add cards need to be directly linked to the payfast page, either that or you need to fix the interface(webafrica billing options) that sends instructions to the payfast billing options as once you click the add button it should sync across the two sites.

Hope this was helpful to others having this issue.

I will however be cancelling my services because the feedback and assistance was utterly disgusting.
