These guys are an absolute nuisance with their emails

Back in 2019 I reported them to ISPA because they webafrica wasn't able to remove me from mailing lists, as their unsubscribe button was just for show.

Now suddenly they've just started sending emails again to my old email address, that I don't use anywhere.... 2 years later.
I unsubscribed a few days ago, and today I've gotten another mail.

Now sure, I can just mark them as spam - but honestly what I really would want to do is set up a spam bot - get their corporate email directory and mail the entire company until I stop getting mails.

If there's anyone from webafrica here - please take a break from eating crayons and sticking forks into wall sockets and see if you can muster the skills to unsubscribe people from your spam email.

Ok, early morning rant over

Agreed. Their unsubscribe button obviously doesn't work.

Really irritating.

Any thoughts on how to cancel a Webafrica trial DSL account, from like years ago? Reset customer password dont work – is Whatsapp the only way?

is Whatsapp the only way?
good luck with that, about a year ago my VDSL modem stopped connecting, tried to contact webafrica via all their channels, including whatsapp, to get assistance

got fed up with waiting and proceeded to try and diagnose the problem myself, ultimately dug up a piece-of-sh!# telkom modem I forgot in a closet ages ago and through comparison realised that I had to say goodbye to and replace my trusty Asus

... fyi I am still waiting for Webafrica to respond to this day

I unsubscribed last week and this morning I get another email.
Time to go on a hunt for their directors emails and start spamming them.

I could just ignore, but it's the principle of the thing.

I also got an email from them. They can fsck right off. I'm not a customer and don't want their crappy emails.

When you find his email address subscribe him to gaysa.co.za and other kewl sites

Got the below response from webafrica support now.

I also got an email from them yesterday, unlucky for them, spam gets you nowhere in my book. Upgraded with my current ISP rather than support spammers.

They CONSTANTLY email me, and I never gave them my email address ever. I had to blacklist them. On this basis, I'd never ever use their services.

Technical error? Why the hell is my email address still in your system!?
Exactly, I've never signed up for any emails and didn't receive anything from them for 2 years - after reporting them to ISPA for the same thing.
