WebAfrica shaping after hours

This is after hours. The p2p starts up fine, but then after a minute the shaping from WebAfrica kicks in. This has been happening for the past 2 weeks that I can't download anything (including overnight).

Confronting them they only respond with "Please be advised that peer to peer protocol is classified as best effort on our network.". Although that's understandable, it's not applicable over 2 weeks and as an anomaly from normal behaviour.

Has anyone else have this problem with WebAfrica specifically targeting them and shaping them (continually after hours)? Is the WebCake a lie?

1 interval is a minute, so that's about 3 minutes. It's very clear the shaping kicks in after a minute. I can repeat that by closing and opening the software everytime.

Firstly if you're on 2 stars shaping is normal. It's why i upgraded to business.

Secondly I meant by times is did you just do that now? At 6pm? If you want to torrent you need to try keep it 00:00 to 06:00.

What did you set the upload speed to in your torrent client?

3 or less stars on a home uncapped account will be very slow for torrents until sometime after 6 pm most nights. Download between the times Chevron has advised as it won't count towards your star rating. Also if you need to download during the day, get a capped or business uncapped account. I have found I can actually get more out of a capped account than the home uncapped accounts because the star rating falls pretty quickly on home uncapped! I don't think you will find a home uncapped account that will give you good torrent speeds until after hours.
