Where is it? Been trying to help my mother who has lost her internet connection, but I cant get through to the damn support desk! After holding for 12 minutes, nobody is answering, and incredibly they are closed over the weekends! what the actual f***
 
Looks like support reopens at 8am tomorrow?
 
Most useless company I have dealt with. And that is after Axxess.

10 days with no LTE throughput. Sent multiple speedtests tracerts, signal strength testing throughout the house, noise tests etc etc etc.

Nothing...
 
I think they are closed over the weekends unless you send them an email and someone finds it by mistake.
 
12 minutes is hardly a long waiting time.
Contact them via their WhatsApp support and stop crying.

12 minutes is a ludicrously long wait time, particularly when you request a callback and it never happens. There are smaller ISP's offering superior service INCLUDING over weekends. Stop accepting inferior service.

TIA. Welcome. 12 minutes is nothing. Please don't start a thread for every call centre you phone.
 
Funny story. I have been waiting 2 months for very basic tech support.
I contacted them on every platform...email, whatsapp, live chat, support ticket and even "attempted" to phone them. I say attempted because that was a nightmare in and of itself. When I finally managed to speak to someone she put me on hold for 30 minutes and then dropped the call, never to be heard from again.

At least I received an email of apology 1 and a half months after my initial request at which point they asked me if I still require assistance. I said yes...and I'm still waiting, another half-a-month later.

Goodbye WebAfrica.

I was engaging someone via WhatsApp when suddenly the interaction just ended. When I tried to get it resumed it said that agent wasnt available anymore. Amazingly, a different agent whatsapped me and we worked on this issue for a while, before deciding that it was very very strange, and opening an Octotel ticket. I will say that Octotel were very good at getting back to me, and said the line needed to be reset (or something along those lines) - they gave me the line number and told me to phone WA again :-O. Amazingly this time I was only on hold for 4-5 minutes before someone answered! As I'm not at the house to deal with the issue, they said they would phone me back at the agreed time and gave me a change to make on the router. So fingers crossed. If it works, I'll be impressed by this specific interaction by support, but overall its shambolic.

Back in the days when I was a WA customer, there was a thread, and the support was superior. Seems to have gone downhill significantly since I left about 5 years ago....
