No, I was not paid to write this message, and no, I am not getting any free bandwidth from them.

I am on a business512 DSL line from Telkom, and I use a 3GB month by month contract with WebAfrica.

Service from WebAfrica has ben stunning. Accounts are easily sorted out, I have had no downtime at all (work hours), when I run out of bandwidth I can top up with a prepaid amount via an online purchase, and my speeds are good.

Skype, MSN, online banking work well. Rapidshare accounts (Free, not premium are sometimes sticky due to IP addresses).

All in all - 10 out of 10 to WebAfrica. Please keep up the good work.

Agreed. When I still had DSL I had a webafrica account and they are most certainly the BEST ISP by far, genuine customer service :D

i was impressed how quickly i got my 1 gig prepaid account last night
well done webafrica

Agreed. Neither WebAfrica nor OpenWeb have ever let me down !!!!

Well done on two brilliant SA ISP's who know how to treat their customers !!!!

looks like we have 2 winners in the isp cat.
openweb and webafrica - what a combination
:)
keep up the good work chapz :)

*Bump*

Another thumbs up :) purchased another gig prepaid, account activated in less than 3 minutes from sending proof of payment. Let's see any other ISP top that! Keep up the good work guys!

My openweb account was activated within two minutes, whilst speaking to Mrbeep via Msn, 21:30 at night!!!

top that!

Yeah but I didn't have direct contact with anybody, account activated within 3 minutes of ordering and sending an email ;)

Whichever way, we should be thankful to have these two ISP's where customer service is placed before all else!

How does Web Africa resell both?

Are you just able to choose who you would like to go with? or do they offer seperate packages?

Has WebAfrica stopped the prepaid option? They have no direct links to it on their web site - I had to find it with Google.
All you can find if you visit and navigate from their home page is the normal monthly accounts.

Webafrica you are the best!! Been with them since August last year and no problems whatsoever! I have never even spoken to the people there as there was no need.
Thanks for the good work, keep it up!:)

WEBAFRICA services rock!
I agree, ditto that.
WebAfrica are the benchmark for ISP's.
I just hope that www.goal.co.za are taking note, their prices sound great but I am wondering if their online customer interface and features with live up to the WebAfrica system/model? Time will tell I guess.

Webafrica are the best ISP by far in my opinion. Service is amazing... even at 3:30AM on a Sunday!

I just really miss my 30Gb accounts for R199 :( The good old days.
