So my internet went down last Friday. Logged a fault, and a technician from Vuma came to my flat, and tried to fix it. Discovered that the box is completely borked, and a cut over is required.

Since then both WebAfrica and Vuma have constantly blown me off. WebAfrica can only say its being escalated, and Vumatel just keep asking for a ticket number that I cannot provide as Im supposed to go through my ISP according to their website.

This service is the worst I have experienced when it comes to all things internet. 6 days, and no one can even provide me with an ETA on when its going to get fixed. The only feedback I have received is that it has been escalated. As I work from home this is costing me huge amounts of money due to me having to hot spot my phone.

Very disappointed. I have had nothing but good service from both these companies up until now, but this is unacceptable.

I started with Webafrica 32 days ago and I've wasted 4 hours on WhatsApp with their support staff but I have yet to be connected. The fault ticket that they opened to get it sorted has been returned as case closed??? At this stage I have been charged for 2 months usage as well as activation fees and connection fees for a total in excess of R2200. Requests for a refund and cancellation of service have been met with warnings that 'clawback' fees apply. Surely this can't be right?

So glad I am not with them anymore.
