Hi all
I'm a total noob with these things so excuse if I get some of the terminology wrong.

Our companies website was developed using Joomla, these dissisions were made before I was around. The people who developed the website back then is not in the scope anymore, hense we have to find someone else to do some maintenance on it.
Yesterday while looking for someone able to work on Joomla sites, I came across quite a few articles with the opinion that Wordpress is much more user friendly for the normal person, so much so that if our site was done using Wordpress, we probably would be able to make small changes and updates ourselves, I also read that moving a entire site over from Joomla to Wordpress is possible and that rewriting the entire thing isn't necessary.

Will it make sense to go over to Wordpress to allow us to do small updates and changes our selves? Is it a big mission to get a website from Joomla to Wordpress?

If it makes any difference, it's not a very complicated site, probably 6 pages or so, no funkey flash or graphics or anything, it's hosted with Hetzner.
