Hi MyBB

I was just wondering is there a service out there dedicated just for website maintenance. What I mean by this is a service which offers daily monitoring of a sites functionality, finding errors or bugs (if any) and then fixing them.

I realize that a Web Developer could perform this task, but generally that is only if the site has actually been built by them. Website engineers should be able to perform standard website maintenance, but in this case I'm clueless as to who (which agency) I should contact.

Just because somebody wrote a piece of code doesn't mean another party can't understand it.

Most websites work off common frameworks and generally only large apps or niche industry apps require large amounts of custom code. It's mostly a Linux vs windows world. Some devs do both. Others specialise. If you can find out what it's hosted and built on, you're halfway there.

Give us a URL and we can try sniff your stack.

There are a bunch of utilities that you can use to scan for Vulnerabilities and Exploits.

You could also get SensePost to review your code if you have a custom implementation. Just be warned that an audit/code review can cost quite a lot!!!
Secondly, you're not guaranteed that they'll pick up every bug/vulnerability either.

Like they did a code review for us and found quite a valid few issues, as well as a few that weren't issues either :)

As for website maintenance - that I don't know about who you can contact for that...

I think you misunderstood me, but I should've been clearer. I was actually looking for someone to perform website maintenance i.e. fix errors/bugs and optimize my website's code, not to find out what code another website was using :)

I'll take a look at SensePost for a code review, though other web developers with adequate knowledge could also perform this task, are there any other web developers that you know of that offer code reviews, just so that I can compare different offers.
