Hi all, I'm not sue if I may ask this on the forum, but I want help with this please? I've always used www.cdcovers.cc for all the covers I needed. It always worked, all you do is to search for the cover, click it, and when it opens, you right click it and save it in your pictures folder. But now I search, then get the cover name, but the cover wont show so that I can right click and save it. What can the problem be? I cleared the cache, stopped my antivirus (AVG), and windows firewall, restarted FF, and everything I could think of. The problem started end of 2007. Try this link to open a cover I searched for, and see if you can open it?

You by any chance have any FF add-ons installed that's blocking scripts?

And can you maybe tell me how to check if the add on is "blocking scripts" If you know some of them, can you tell me what it is? Thanks

I had the problem once - was an adblocker

Here it is

Thanks a lot. Just the problem is I need a lot of their covers, so solving my problem is what I need to do. I have ad-aware installed, but if I'm right, it's not running all the time. But I'll check. Thanks

Try and uninstall adaware and reinstall after visiting the site - maybe it will work - don't quite remember what I did to fix it - also if the problem persists, use IE

I have "NoScript" installed, and that was originally blocking the images from opening, when I allowed the scripts on the website, the images showed as they should.

There could be other add-ons as well that could be used to block scripts, can't help you out there unfortunately, I only know of the above one.

Still no success. I uninstalled ad-aware, and there's no add ons running in ff that I know of. The ones I have is, dom inspector, megaupload toolbar, talkback, and an English dictionary. But all of then is disabled. Can avg 7.5 maybe be a problem? I did stop it once and tried loading the site, but the problem was still there. I can't understand, cdcovers.cc is the only site I have this problem with, and it's just the jpeg files that isn't loading.

Possibly the router blocking scripts? The site is definitely using javascript to load the pics, so I still suspect something wrong there. On the Linksys I have there are options in the firewall to block scripts, I didn't realise it at first and it was messing up websites for me.

Otherwise, nothing else I can think of :(

Okay I know I'm stupid, but if that page uses javascript to load pictures: Must I see that java icon on the notification area bottom right? And why does all the other pictures on that page show, just not the actual one I want? Please tell me where to check this java settings, or to check if I even have that "java".

All the other pics load normally, just the covers seem to be accessed by javascript, I would guess they do this so that other websites can't link directly to the covers. It doesn't use full Java so the Java icon will not be present.

In FF, go "Tools > Options" and choose the "Content" tab. Make sure that "Enable Javascript" is ticked.

Nothing else I can think of. Have you tried in IE? If it only does it in FF, then my guess would be an add-on, but I think that is ruled out based on the add-ons you mentioned. If it does the same thing in FF and IE then it must be some other program (such as Ad-aware, but you ruled out that) or a setting (such as in a firewall).

Or maybe the site is just buggered

Same thing seems to be happening to me now, earlier it worked perfectly. Some pics display correctly, others don't show up at all.
