Is there any software available that can give the number of hits for any other website.

How is it possible that we know the hits of other sites like new24 etc

Your website needs to have fairly high traffic to show up on Alexa though.

Or for some of the top SA sites try the online publishers association -> http://www.opa.org.za/. Probably more accurate than alexa, but it is only for the top twenty/fifty sites that are members of the opa.

Alexa is not really effective for SA sites nor is trafficestimate.com

I also think the closest you will get is opa. Then many sites like News24 also give some information under their advertise sections.
