I find a lot that I am having to refresh websites, sometimes more than once, in order to get them to load.

They just sit on "waiting for..."
Also sometimes, a bit of the page loads and then it doesn't do anything, just sits on waiting for again on some page element.

Is there a reason for this that can be fixed?

Mweb Uncapped here, got the same problem (since Mon morning), their network notices have listed it as 'resolved' but I'm still getting intermittent connection.

Network status:
http://www.mweb.co.za/helpcentre/NetworkStatusNotices.aspx

The problem is currently listed under 'other' although if you scroll down ADSL you will see the 'closed' entry.

Im getting similar issues (with telkom) Images tend to fail at loading fully and when I try save them, the download cuts out as well as other downloads (programs etc) >_> It's rather annoying.

Thank goodness I got a program that at least lets me download files and doesn't end up having the download only get halfway and then cut out and force me to redownload. Not sure if it would be allowed to be said here. But anyways. It's really annoying me having to refresh pages etc >_>

Problem solved!

I phoned TI support and the operator acknowledged that they have been having problems with proxy servers since Sunday. He gave me a server address on 196.43.9.21 and port 8080 and the improvement was instant!

Resolved for - Uncapped (50GB) Fixed IP address accounts with MWEB.

Whats happened is when the migration happened recently happened and MWEB took over the Cisco routers from IS. What the technician was meant to tell you was to change your DNS settings on your Server.

Change them from the IS settings to Mwebs 196.28.80.139. (alt 196.28.80.140).

Its been a painful week.
