Weed growers thread

The photos arent very clear but I dont see sac's that indicate a male yet. They would typically grow in the middle of the V between Stem and Offshoot. Not part of the actual offshoot.
Yeah, I check them over, no signs of gender yet, I topped them about a week and half ago, so thinking it might just be a growth spurt. They 5 weeks now so I am hoping to be able to sex them soon.

Your curing process seems kinda odd. You open the jar once a day for the first three weeks, then once a week after and put in a boveda pack, or you can even put the pack in at the start.

I don't go once a day for three weeks way shorter than that. My comment was more for the amount of glassware I would need, 50 minimum, so looking for bigger containers to cure in. The CVault is perfect but the largest one available here in South Africa is around mid-range size wise. I love the Boveda packs but I can't get them lower than R60 so I just use them for top shelf bud.

The flash makes it difficult to see :( From the node spacing I would guess Sativa dominant or is it bag seed?
Yeah, taking photos at sunrise is probably not the best idea  and you are correct on the Sativa, growing me some Candyland. Not a big fan of Indica.

They just beefing up fam. Can’t tell gender as of yet
Thanks for the assurance. Gave them all a once over again when I got home and it only seems to be the ones I topped that have the swollen nubs. Have my fingers crossed they all female, as it is regular seeds so no telling what I'll get.

Just checked out Candyland on Leafy now and it looks like quite a heavy potent yielder. Are those plants under lights as well, it's a bit late in the season for outdoor is why I'm asking? Which seed bank did you use?

I agree somewhat on the Indica, the best I've smoked makes me black out while I function near perfect on Sativas.
These are all Sativa dominant hybrids.

Those are beautiful, one day I'll have trees like that :D. Not under lights, I have no space inside and yes a bit late in the year to start but this is an experiment run before I plant my seeds I got from the UK. The Candyland is from a local gal in JHB, Elixerextract, going on trust here that it is what it says it is. I also have bag seed from the Champagne Kush, Gorilla Bomb and a Underdog OG which ended up sprouting, so if I get any yield then win, if they all turn out to be male then still a win because I am gaining knowledge for the next grow.

Good Sativa is so smooth that I find I dont even feel stoned, thats why I need a good Indica every now and again, especially at night or when I want to veg out. Mixing the two is also lekker - cannot wait for my Dinafem hybrid to finish - she is so huge and only just started flowering - but IMG_9424.JPGhow big will she get ?

That really is a nice variety of seeds you got there. I checked on the website and see the seeds come from Humboldt, I would say the best cannabis comes from there. I see she is not that crazy with her prices and I'm eyeing that six strains for R500 for my next grow.

You should maybe force your plants into flowering now as to finish with some bud. I don't have experience with supplemental light at the tail end of the season just the start. Those strains' flowering times are on the shorter side and I think we've still got two months left here for flowering. I still have two plants that need to flower which are going to finish up very late. Also don't worry about the males they show themselves very quickly and before they can do any damage.

In flowering you can expect 30% to 50% increase. Get some Guano for her. Very, very nice lady that.

Yeah, that is why I bought her stuff. Pricing is very reasonable and quality not bad. Word of warning if you in CPT use the Pargo option, Aramex and Postnet apparently seize parcels and DSV is apparently a **** show. Waiting for them to mature a bit more, still haven't matured enough for sexing, thankfully back yard gets a lot of sun, so they getting around 8 hrs of direct sun. Getting excited now, almost six weeks old. Took this lovely pic last night.

Crickey ...I have already cut her down twice, shes growing higher than my boundary wall, all the vagrants keep coming to ask for weed, and the other day I saw a guy taking pictures...makes me a bit nervous

My neighbour is a high ranking official in the police force. When I see him parked in the driveway, I deliberately go to my gate and light a joint and chat with him. He seems chilled though.
