Weed growers thread

Video actually, I'll try and find it.

I really need to sort out my YouTube history everything is under watch later. I also read my comment now and should have expanded more. Taxonamy is not really my area of expertise but the argument was I believe Indica and Sativa can be cross-bred and can therefore not be classified as subgenus. I however do use Indica and Sativa to distinguish plants as every book I've read does it this way. Personally I think everything is mixed and chances of finding a pure landrace stock is slim.

any1 in Jhb keen to swap some Indica for seedless Sativa - like 20g

Hi guys. I am new to growing and have gotten myself a bobby greenhash groweed bag with a sour diesel auto feminized seed.

I cut a 2 litre bottle as instructed with the top end facing down and having the wick pulled through to the base where the water sits. The kit comes with a premix that yields a good grow. I unfortunately do not get a lot of light coming into the house, so I have placed the kit outside where there is a decent amount of light. I planted the seed on the 3rd of March. What should my next step be and will it grow well outside being an indoor strain? I really would like to see my plant grow as well as many of the other members on this forum.

It should grow better outside than inside, as the sun is the best energy source. Autos' however, need to germinate in their final containers, so not sure how big she can grow in a 2L pot.
Here are pics of my Sweet Tooth Auto clone I raised outdoors in Coco..I did transplant her, which I think stumped her growth a bit..Sweet Tooth Clone Auto.jpgSweet Tooth Auto Clone.jpg

Would you suggest that I already do the transplant now, since it is still only a seed possibly or wait until the plant begins to shoot out from under the soil? Also what should my soil consist of for the final container...I have read that using a 20L container is good.

Anyone tried eating the raw leaves and bud? Supposed to be like a superfood.

Like many other leafy greens, cannabis is chock-full of fibre, protein, fatty acids, and iron. It can also give you a nice daily dose of vitamin C for immune function, vitamin K for calcium absorption, calcium for strong bones, and folate for DNA repair.

CBDA has anti-inflammatory properties, functions as an antibacterial, and has links to reducing nausea and vomiting. Preclinical research states that THCA may have the potential to protect against neurodegenerative diseases, treat epilepsy and muscle spasms, and provide relief for insomnia and pain.

Cannabis will also hold on to a lot more of its beneficial terpenes when it's not getting torched. Aside from producing the aroma and flavour profile, terpenes also have their own set of medicinal properties. They're known to have antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-cancer properties.

What comes with in the kit ?
Do you have space in your garden to plant it with good light ? Auto's need lots of light ---- I move mine at lunchtime to get more sun.
20L is good size ...
Final soil is a personnel choice - I use coco-coir and feed it EHG nutrients.. but I guess any nutrient rich soil, preferable sterile regarding pests, should be fine , try get something with PH of 5.5-6.5..

Curios to know what you guys use to check on your trichomes during flowering? I've been using a currency jeweler's loupe the last couple of years and the batteries finally ran out. Looking for something new and currently the Carson is looking good for R400. Anything else one should look at?

Got the currency 60x on in the second photo on bidorbuy for cheap. It works I guess, but I have nothing to compare it to. I can see the trichomes clearly, slightly better than in the attached photos taken through it with my camera.

Where did you see the Carson for R400?
