I was wondering which porridge is healthy, I like Weet-bix, but after a few hours [2] I am hungry, again. Is there a porridge that is more healthy.

Something being healthy has nothing to do with how long it keeps you feeling satiated for. Anyway. Have you tried oats?

Don't eat breakfast anymore. staying hungry all the same.

Get Jungle Oats. 5 mins to make and it keeps you satisfied for around 4 hours.

Jungle oats looks like snot. :screwy:

Yeah I suppose it kinda does, now that you mention it. Hasn't stopped me from eating it though cos it's delicious.

Nowadays I find myself having a breakfast of last nights leftover curry with a few green chillies and brown bread with a beer. It's more fulfilling and keeps the energy up until lunch.

In the army, we used to take along Pronturo, sugar and powdered milk. Lightweight, just add water.

Gives a ton of energy and fills you up. Also stops gypo guts.

I even got a Pro Nutro medal for eating so much. ( may mean something to the ex SANDF guys)

I like weet bix but also found that it doesn't keep me full for long so now I add some Future Life low GI porridge to it and that helps.

Oats all the way. Lots of carbs and you just need to add boiling water (no need to cook it in my opinion). Also, I add a generous tablespoon of peanut butter to it. Tastes great!

Bacon and eggs (scramble the eggs to make your "porridge").

so what we do is:

get the air fryer read the night before.
get up, take 4 fish fingers/chicken fingers or 1.5 pork sausages or 4 rashers of bacon per person. add to air fryer and turn it on.
go shower,
put bread in toaster. turn on coffee machine and start first take away cup.
get dressed.
butter toast, add condiment appropriate to protein.
take protien out of air fryer add to toast.
finish coffee.

done.

Weet bix is fast, mieliepap takes too long to prepare for me.

The Ace instant mieliepap isn't too bad. Obviously nowhere close to the real thing, but if you're pressed for time and need something to hold you for a few hours it's decent. Goes well with a block of chocolate in it too.

Fak I get heartburn just reading that. Sounds awesome though...
